In Week 14 we lost two more Quarterbacks for the season, in Carson Wentz and Josh McCown. They are likely to be replaced by Nick Foles and Bryce Petty in Week 15. Week 15 means playoff semifinals in most leagues, so Wentz is a big loss for a lot of teams. Indirectly Josh McCown could also be a big loss for teams that have been using Robby Anderson at receiver during his recent hot streak.
Week 15 is also my final Weekly Start ‘Em article for the 2017 Fantasy Season. The majority of my picks have played well lately, so I’m trying to finish the season strong. My Week 15 Start ‘Em picks are below. Best of luck to the end of each of your Fantasy Football Seasons!
Devin Funchess – Carolina vs Green Bay (Draft Kings $6,600 / Fan Duel $7,300) – the Green Bay secondary has been hit hard by injuries. Funchess has developed into the top receiver for Carolina and is in line for a great game this Sunday at home.
Dede Westbrook – Jacksonville vs Houston (Draft Kings $5,100 / Fan Duel $5,700) – Westbrook is slowly becoming a bigger part of the offense since his return from IR. In Week 14 he lead the Jaguars in targets and has a line of 5/81/1 TD. This week he faces a struggling Houston pass defense and should equal or surpass last week’s numbers.
Cooper Kupp – LA Rams @ Seattle (Draft Kings $6,200 / Fan Duel $6,500) – Robert Woods should return this week, but Kupp will lead the Rams’ receivers in receiving for one more week.
Marquise Goodwin – San Francisco vs Tennessee (Draft Kings $6,000 / Fan Duel $6,600) – Tennessee does not have the secondary to stop Marquise Goodwin this week. Garoppolo has a good shot to continue his streak of having never lost as a starter in the NFL and Goodwin will be his main target.
Mohamed Sanu – Atlanta @ Tampa Bay (Draft Kings $6,000 / Fan Duel $6,000) – Mathew Stafford threw for nearly 250 yards in the first half last week against Tampa Bay, who were unable to stop receivers, the running back or the tight end in the passing game. Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu should both have great games this Monday night in Tampa, and yes, Matt Ryan is a good start this week!
Jordan Howard – Chicago @ Detroit (Draft Kings $6,900 / Fan Duel $7,500) – Howard is coming off of a 23/147/2 TD’s stat line, but has been horribly inconsistent throughout the season. This week in Detroit he will trend towards consistency against a Detroit rushing defense that ranks 20th in the NFL.
Kenyan Drake – Miami @ Buffalo (Draft Kings $5,800 / Fan Duel $6,500) – Drake, as Miami’s only running back the last two weeks has excelled. This week he faces the Bills’ 27th ranked rushing defense. Sun or snow, Drake will have well over 100 combined yards this week.
Latavius Murray – Minnesota vs Cincinnati (Draft Kings $4,900 / Fan Duel $6,200) – Murray has disappeared of late, but should make an appearance this week against the Bengals 32nd ranked rush defense. The Vikings should also play with the lead this week allowing more carries to both Murray and McKinnon, but Murray should be the back with the majority of the carries to put away the game.
Alfred Morris – Dallas @ Oakland (Draft Kings $5,700 / Fan Duel $6,500) – Morris disappointed in a good matchup against the Giants in Week 14, but this week in Oakland things should turn around. Oakland is 16th against the run.
Running Back Tandems
Alvin Kamara & Mark Ingram – New Orleans vs NY Jets (Draft Kings $8,600, $8,200 / Fan Duel $9,100, $8,300)
Kamara has not yet been cleared, but since the concussion occurred last Thursday I’m assuming he will have been cleared prior to the end of the week. The Jets have been good against the run, but this will be their first week without Josh McCown. I expect the Saints defense to dominate against the Jets offense, and for the Jets defense to tire early this week. Ingram and Kamara will have big second halves.

@LennyMelnick Football will. The new QB rules just put the nail in the coffin. You can't hit him high, low, or in the mid section now. Competiton is gone in the sport. Now it's all QB and you could play until your 50 if you are good QB because you can't be touched.
